Optical center brings patient-centric care and eyewear to Elgin community

Randall Road. Amit Bhambri, O.D. will be providing complete eye care services at Shopko Optical’s Elgin center, including eye exams, contact lens fitting, and diagnosis and treatment of eye disease.

Amit Bhambri, O.D. specializes in general optometry and contact lens fittings. Graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Bhambri focuses on addressing each patient question and concern to ensure thorough eye exams that support overall wellbeing.

In addition to opening its new center, Shopko Optical is delighted to expand its Project Eyecare program to Elgin’s community. Shopko Optical staff will work with the local Lions Club to identify deserving children within the area to receive a free comprehensive eye exam and pair of glasses.
