Primary eye care
Dr. Tackman strives to provide the same care and respect to patients as he would to his own family. Outside of work, he enjoys trapshooting, hunting waterfowl, and fishing. He is actively involved in his church and the Great Lakes Sports Club. He is originally from Bay City, MI.

Dr. Sammon was inspired by other optometrists in the Grand Rapids, MI area when he chose optometry as his profession. He approaches each exam as if his patients are family members. He strives to provide exceptional patient care and discuss exam findings with a simplistic and conversational approach. Dr. Sammon spends his free time practicing meditation, jiu jitsu, fishing, hunting, and wrestling.
About Digital Eye Exams
A digital eye exam, sometimes referred to as tele-optometry, allows you to receive a comprehensive eye exam at our Escanaba location performed by a licensed optometrist.
